Maine’s first design-build project, Sagadahoc
Bridge was completed one month ahead of schedule. The main span is
420’ – the longest precast segmental span built in the
balanced cantilever fashion in the United States. Gene Figg led a
design charette with the community using consensus voting to gain
input on the various features of the bridge that were beyond the
requirements of the contract. |
