The 1,360’ main span unit of the Clark Bridge
is supported by an innovative cable stay anchorage system designed
by Figg Engineering Group. The pylons of the Clark Bridge are the
only design for cable stays in America that has the saddle pipe
anchorage at the top. It is the first utilization of a single pylon
and two planes of stays arrangement in America. The bridge design
has been honored with ten design awards.
